Let's Build! The Daughter Project breaks Ground!
From Jeff, Director of TDP:
Matthew 5 – “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Our lead builder and about 20 subcontractors met last Friday to prepare to break ground on Monday, June 27. Thank you to everyone who has faithfully supported TDP through praying, serving and donating over the last two years! Please continue to do what God has called you to do and tell everyone you know about our important work. Our plan is to build during July & August, to be done in September and then to apply for our group home license. Hopefully this will allow us to begin helping our first girls this fall.
How exciting!
Speaking of making a home...I am inspired by the creativity of this house:
