Making Icecream: Enjoying life's process as much as the product

I've thought about writing a book. Who hasn't?

And I think I am going to try. Spring has sprung, new life is here…fresh hope, different strength. I think this is going to be a long, hard task. And I have no idea how to get there…fully.

My book would have spiritual thoughts on life's speed bumps, smooth paths and barely-there-but-I'll-keep-going roads. And my fight to actually enjoy the ride. It's like making homemade ice-cream… quite a process….but the product? Oh so sweet. I'd rather skip that whole ingredient measuring, sugar burning (Jeni's Icecream….salty caramel) take forever thing. Hook a sista up. Like, yesterday.

So to kick off my hope….I'm giving my sight fresh life.

Anyone know a thing or two about writing a book? Editors and publishers and whateverelses? I've got a few leads. Lemme know. Here we go……
