Happy Anniversary to us! (8 years of the charmed life)

I believe in the covenant of marriage. I believe in the fact that two people making that covenant become one flesh. I believe that we are called to sacrifice and to be gift-givers in marriage. So, today, I gladly sacrifice so that Rob can help to lead a group of students to Africa for God's glory. 

Today, a part of me is in Africa, too.

Today, I am so thankful for 8 years of gift-giving. Of sacrifice. Of love. Of covenant. Of joy.

So often Rob comes home and says "What a charmed little life we lead....." 

May my handsome prince come home to me safe and sound and full of joy and praise on his lips for all they had faith to do and see.....
